A little bit about it ...
Obsidian 1.8.6
Obsidian is a desktop password manager I've been working on. The main idea is to keep it simple, secure and not overloaded with unnecessary stuff.
Main features
Encrypted local password vault
Built-in password generator
Reused password detection
Breach checking
Folders and tags
Security/activity logs
Import and export
System tray support
Security overview
Built-in changelog
Automatic update checking
Accounts / Licences
Free
Premium
Developer
Owner
Activation keys
Device activations
Licence revoking/releasing
Founding 5
There's also a Founding 5 system for the first five testers/contributors. They get lifetime Premium, a numbered founder spot and permanent credit inside the app.
Admin panel
There's a separate admin dashboard where I can generate/revoke keys, manage users and activations, assign Founding 5 members and publish new versions of Obsidian.
Backend
The online side runs through Supabase. It handles licences, activations, releases and the Founding 5 system. The actual password vault is kept separate and encrypted locally.
Built with
Electron, React, TypeScript, Vite, Node.js, Supabase and PostgreSQL.
Basically I'm trying to make it feel like an actual desktop password manager rather than just a password list with a nice UI.
I NEED TESTERS SO PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO MESSAGE ME or reply to this
