Script Kiddie!
Pointer is an independent, open-source IDE distribution based on Code-OSS. It is currently in its first public testing phase and focuses on building a clean, community-driven developer experience with room for future extension store work, AI API integrations, local model workflows, and general IDE improvements.
I built it because I wanted an open IDE foundation that can be shaped more directly by its community instead of being limited to one fixed workflow. The project is still early, so feedback, testing, bug reports, documentation improvements, UI/UX polish, and voluntary open-source contributions are very welcome.
Pointer is independent and not affiliated with Microsoft.
