Hey, I’m learning to code by building a project, and I’ve tried to avoid using LLMs as much as possible. But I feel like I’ve reached a point where I’m stuck.

I’ve upserted data from a JSON file into PostgreSQL and written a script that fetches the data based on user input. That part is working, and I’m getting the expected results.

Now, I want the user to be able to search for a company’s stock name, and then have the other details, like the instrument_key, automatically filled in based on the selected company.

For example, when the user searches for a company, I’m getting several close matches. I want the user to select the correct company from those results, and then use that selection to fill in the corresponding stock name, instrument_key, etc.

I understand what I want to achieve, but I’m stuck on how to implement this part.
