I have pretty good basics in python and math, but for some reason its been like 2-3 days of reading on neural networks and this just makes no sense to me.
the most complicated ideas are activation functions and backpropagation
i mean
does a neural network learn basically through calculated trials and errors?
and what is the significance of activation functions i mean i get it turns the graphs from linear to curved graphs by causing bends in them and stuff but like how is that significant in any way?
