I’ve built an AI Agent case study using Spring Boot, Spring AI, and MCP for Turkish traditional food recommendations.
The project takes user inputs such as region, dietary preference, cooking time, and dessert preference, then uses MCP tools to generate contextual suggestions.
Key highlights:
Natural language responses with Spring AI + Gemini
MCP Streamable HTTP integration between food-agent-api and food-mcp-server
Turkish/English response handling and Accept-Language based validation messages
MCP-based fallback response when Gemini is unavailable
Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes/Minikube, and GitHub Actions support
Postman Collection for English/Turkish API testing
This project demonstrates the AI Agent + MCP approach through a real-world domain.
